You can also assess their marketing skills by asking them to sell some items. You can also ask sudden questions to assess their ability in thinking and answering on the spot. See if they can come up with a unique answer. Closely observe the body language of the applicants during the interview to find out whether they are smartly dressed and if they have the friendly vibe about them to win the confidence of the customers.
